IT Support Consultants (Closed)

Summary Description

We're Hiring: IT Support Consultants (2 PAX) to work with our team of qualified and experienced IT engineers and specialists to achieve our business goals with tailored IT solutions and services. The IT support, also known as Field IT support, will provide technical assistance onsite at Tunduma. This service involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as delivering customized IT solutions to our clients and business partners. 

Location: Tunduma, Mbeya (Onsite)
Contract Type: Consultant
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

1. • Help-desk Management via telephone, e-mail, and chat.
2. • Learn appropriate software and hardware used on-site. 
3. • Perform remote and onsite fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, and troubleshooting systems and applications.
4. • Diagnose and resolve both emergency and chronic problems related to availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality.
5. • Be a Team Player - Frequent communication with our teams and clients to operational success. 

Experience

1. • At least 3 years of experience with increasing levels of technical knowledge in: desktop support and troubleshooting, networking, routing, Active Directory, and disaster recovery.
2. • Focus on customer service - We are passionate about going above and beyond to provide our clients with excellent service.

5. • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Skills Set

1. • TCP/IP infrastructures and peripheral devices, including network printers, scanners, etc.
2. • Microsoft Office, Windows Server suites and desktop and server remote control tools.
3. • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
4. • Ability to assume responsibility and ownership for work performed and assignments.
5. • Complete command of English language both written and conversational.
